What is the difference between the brands of PrEP?
There are two types of PrEP, those known by the brand name "Truvada", Ricovir-EM, Tenvir-EM, Tenof-EM, Tavin-EM. These have the same active ingredients and in the same amounts, so there is no difference between taking any of the brands. People usually choose the brand they want, either because of the price, or because it is the one their friend or doctor has recommended. The other type is the one known under the brand name "Descovy" such as Tafero-EM and Taficita-EM. They are also analogous and the choice of which one to take is up to you.
